Disability Access and Accommodations
Alameda County Law Library does not discriminate on the basis of disability. As required by the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Library provides reasonable modifications and appropriate aids and services for effective communication to ensure equal access to its programs, services, and activities. Required accommodations carry no disability-related surcharge.
The ADA does not require the Law Library to take any action that would fundamentally alter the nature of its programs or services, or impose an undue financial or administrative burden.
To request an accommodation or report an accessibility concern, contact Library staff in person, by phone at (510) 208-4832, or by email at lawlib@acgov.org. Requests may be made orally or in writing. An accommodation request form is available but is not required.
